I had a great time at the pottery studio in Seto. It gave me a lot of insight into traditional Japanese pottery techniques and the everyday workings of a pottery studio. I was very focused on training on the wheel, throwing off the hump, and would often work until late in the evening, but also had time to relax with tea and sometimes meals with Sensei and the others at the Studio, we also had the opportunity to enjoy the blooming of the Sakura. I would recommend the program to anyone deeply interested in pottery and wanting a unique experience of Japan.
