Studying with Kato Sensei has been an incredible experience for me. I enjoyed every minute of it. I just wish I was there longer.
The town is a historic pottery town with many potteries, galleries, and museums related to ceramics. The people are nice, the food is great, the surroundings are peaceful. It is very inspiring for creative work.
Being at Kasen studio gave me an opportunity to learn from the best.
Observing the masterful throwing, trimming, glazing, decorating techniques of Kato Sensei, learning every step of pottery making. Being part of local life.
I hope I can come back soon for another session!
