Program: 30-day Pottery Making in Seto – With Guidance

I spent the month of October 2024 in the city of Seto at “Kasen Pottery”.
I couldn’t wait to meet the trainer and discover the city of Seto.
I arrived a little stressed because a lot of things were unknown. But upon arrival, “Sensei” welcomed me warmly which relieved the pressure.
The month passed quickly between the extraordinary moments of turning demonstrations, the making of our tools, and the discovery of the city’s ceramic tradition, its museums and the numerous exhibitions and culinary tastings!
I had the opportunity to fire some pottery in the noborigama kiln, a great human experience too!
The natural park not far away made it possible to reconnect with nature. It was very inspiring.
I will remember for a long time Sensei’s good humor, generosity, his dedication to his work and his love of pottery and music that he shared so sincerely with us.
